For the fishing we provide a 26ft centre Console walk round Catamaran powered by twin 150 hp engines - safety being key to our off shore trips, all tackle and equipment provided. We pride ourselves on being the first to bring Sailfish to Gambian shores and being the only blue water specialists in the Gambia. We use the catamaran for all trips as indicated in the price list i.e. for Sailfish, Tarpon and reef/sport fishing. Also we have a 14 ft ex army flat bottomed skiff powered by a 25 hp engine, great to get to those shallow waters.
Our Location: The boats are based at Denton Bridge which joins the mainland to Banjul the Capital, the port and the Gambian river mouth. It is a 10 to20 min ride from most resorts to Denton bridge. The boats are moored on the West (left hand side approaching Banjul) side giving easy access to the Atlantic, at this location there is a water sports centre which provide good food, drink, accommodation, swimming pool, beach area and parking, perfect for starting and finishing your fishing trip.
The Fishing times of year are:
Blue Water: (Sailfish, Dorado, Tuna) – June to December
Tarpon: Biggest caught – January/February/March
Reef/Sport – all year round, species vary
